By-election for the Resort Village of Wakaw Lake - Change of location for the Advanced Poll

Reminder that the advanced poll for the by-election will be held from 10:00am - 2:00pm at the Resort Village office at 124 1st St. S. in Wakaw, SK on Saturday, August 23, 2025.

The by-election will take place on Saturday, September 6, 2025 from 9 am to 8 pm at the polling station located outside the Boat Storage Compound at Poplar Beach.

The candidates for the vacancy are as follows:

Owen Manz (member of Poplar Beach Campground)

David Kramer

Megan Meszaros

Below are the rules to determine if you are eligible to vote in this By-election.

1.  Canadian citizen;

2.  18 years of age or older

3. You have resided in the Resort Village full time for at least three consecutive months leading up to September 6, 2025.

4.  You are the assessed person (on the land title) for property that is situated in the Resort Village of Wakaw Lake for at least three consecutive months leading up to September 6, 2025.

5.  You are the spouse of a person mentioned in number 3 or 4.

Section 3 is applicable to full time cabin owners and Section 4 is applicable to cabin owners and campground shareholders.
