Good evening Poplar Beach Members,

We have several items to share with you on upcoming events as well as a couple of housekeeping items to mention.

Saturday, July 16 Activities

Due to the unfortunate rain that cancelled our evening activities on July 1st, we are very happy to share that this Saturday, July 16th, the Poplar Beach Social Committee has rescheduled the Harreson James Band. They will be taking centre stage at the Gazebo beginning at 6:30pm! Rider game will play prior and we will be having our special beach celebration at 10:00pm. Bring your lawn chairs and enjoy the fun day of activities!

Annual General Meeting

As shared prior, the PBCOC AGM will take place on July 31st at the park Gazebo at 10:00am. Details and financial files can be viewed on our website in the Newsletters section or click HERE to be redirected.

August 13 Resort Village BBQ

The Resort Village of Wakaw Lake will be hosting a BBQ at the Gazebo on August 13th. Everyone is welcome! During this time, the main street by the playground will be closed to vehicular traffic to allow for golf carts and foot traffic.

Housekeeping Items

There has been an increase to dogs running off leash in the park. It is very important for the safety of our park members, children and your pets that dogs must remain on leash at all times if off your site. There will be heightened enforcement and failure to abide may result in a fine of $50.00 for the first offence. An additional reminder that dogs are not permitted on the beach area as indicated on signage at the beach entrances.

The beautiful weather is now upon us! We hope that everyone has a opportunity to come out to the lake and enjoy the best summer has to offer!
